Thimphu, BHUTAN – Club Valencia managed to get a point against Thimphu City FC in their first leg of 2017 AFC Cup Preliminary play-off match after a goalless draw.

Valencia departed to Bhutan for this match with just 10 practice sessions and had a good game against Thimphu in the match played at 6 degrees.

Valencia created two good chances in the first half to score however, first attempt was blocked by Thimphu City goalkeeper and the second attempt was blocked by their defenders.

Valencia will play against Thimphu City FC on 6th February in their second leg at National Football Stadium, Male. And the winners of this two legs will face against the winners of the clash between Mohan Bagan from India and Colombo FC from Sri Lanka.

Mohan Bagan won their first leg against Colombo FC today by 2-1.
